My friend was kicking a ball around inside with his D70 in hand...(accident waiting to happen????yea i thought so too)...but anyways, he somehow dropped his camera from an approximate height of 2 feet. when he turned his camera on the next time his shutter started to just open and close without stopping. it didnt even stop when he shut the camera off!

so he took the battery out and as soon as he put it back in it started doing it again (and once again the camera wasnt on!)

Any help with what could be the problem would be appreciated...(im sure he just broke an internal part anyways)

Kick your friend in the head for me, will you!

No help here, Crit. He should send in the camera to a Nikon authorized center and pay-up for lack of better judgement.

For a moment I thought you dropped your D70.
