does anybody know of a way to watch a hi8mm tape. i got a tape as gift and i dont know how to watch it i have been told that there is no device to put it directly onto the vcr.i was wondering if anybody knows of a place or a way to watch this or better yet put it on a vhs tape. im in california near san jose. please help

Look in the yellow pages for a company that will transfer your 8mm footage to a DVD.
