I have a JVC GR-D72U, it worked well for a few months, but now when I turn it on and try to record something all that comes up on the screen or viewfinder is vertical colored lines, all of the info (date, time, etc.) still appears clearly, and I can rewind the tape and it plays back previous videos clearly. How old is the camera? Is it still under warranty? Try calling JVC's tech support.
