I am interested in purchasing a new camcorder for under $1000 dollars and am not sure if DVD or Mini DV is better format. Most of the time I will be making my own DVD's with Ulead software so quality, ease of tranfer and of course price are my biggest concerns. Any suggestions? |

Why is Mini DV better? It seems like DVD is much more simple for playback and copy. Do you know of any articles that specifically address the comparison? Thanks. |

Depends really on how you want to use it. Mini DV is a little easier to work with, in my experience. |
