Hi, I've been having this problem lately. When I turn on my camera (olympus C-750 UZ) it would show "power off" or "format". Not all the time. I can sometimes make it work again by taking out the card and putting it back in. Sometimes while shooting the camera would hang while saving the picture. I don't suspect it's a corrupt XD card because it's new and would work fine before the occasional error and then work fine again. Sometimes when it asks to be formatted and when I do, the photos are still there on the card. Really need your help on this one. THanks |

Try cleaning the contacts on the camera where you insert the memory card. Clean the contacts on your memory card as well. |

Any file stored in the card will be erased once you format the card. |
