i'am close to purchasing a camcorder and i just wanted to know if Camcorders that burn straight onto dvd's higher quality then the ones that don't?

not necessarily so, just more expensive. Burning it directly to DVD is very convenient but, a little too final for me. I like to play around and edit my videos.
