I cant get my sony DSC w5 Picture Maker software to reconize my dvd burner or any cds and cant save pictures to disk How do I fix this?

Uninstall and re-install.
Go to your device manager and uninstall the dvd burner. Re-start the computer and let the comuter install the burner automatically. Then re-start.
What is your OS?

DSC W5 I can get the list of photos I have taken up on the PC screen using USB post and can show Thumbnails bit will not open each Pic individually. It keeps telling me something about file W32 not available. What went wrong. It was working fine up to a couple of days ago. What couls have gone wrong ?

Use a memory card reader instead of plugging in your camera to the PC.
