I'm getting ready to have to capture a LOT of Hi-8 and mini DV tapes for people really soon. I was wondering though, since I don't have a Hi-8 or Mini-DV camcorder, is there a better solution to capturing these formats rather than buying Hi-8 and mini DV camcorders? Is there some sort of player that will play back both of these formats? I could just buy both camcorders for $500, but if there's a cheaper and easier option, I'd like to just get one machine to do it all. Thanks for any help.
