Nothing that really matters. Bigger LCD, the older one has 1.8, the update is 2. It has a cable release. It is basically still the same D70.
Keith,
There will be firmware updates for the D70 by mid May to upgrade the D70.

Check first if you don't already have the updated firmware.
Go to Nikon USA and you should be able to download the proper updates. Be very careful when you do the updates, read the instructions and follow them to the letter. |

i checked....the firmware on my camera is out of date....everyone i know tells me to be super careful? Whats the deal with this? I'm sort of afraid to do it |

LOL!Sorry Keith, i didn't mean to make you all paranoid. i'm just saying that you should follwo the directions carefully. Firmware updates are just finnicky, that's all. Do you have Nikon Capture? |
