I am trying to enter an independent film contest and we are recording in Digital 8 format. Is it possible to convert Digital 8 tapes to NTSC Digital Beta, D2, or MiniDV without purchasing another video camera? I don't want to switch because I am using a sony VAIO computer and the I-link cable which has been very convenient.
