Looking to buy my first digital camera and was looking at something like the sony cybershots (5.1 megapix) Looking to spend around 300. Basicly this will be used for taking pictures of the outside and inside of businesses as i am making websites and collecting web content. I have heard mixed reviews and would like to know what you suggest for simillar features and price as the cybershots . Thank you

There's nothing wrong with the Sony Cybershot for the type of shooting you plan on doing.

If you can, take a look at the Canon Powershots. I try to steer people away from Sony cameras. My experience tells me they are not as reliable as I want them to be. Other propreitary features of Sony is also something I do not like.

I have used both sony cybershots and Canon Powershots....And over all the Powershots are more durable and have better qualities..in my opinion
