i know this is probabaly a lame question..but. what are the differenaces between an SLR camera and an SLR-like camera?

The way it takes pictures. Are you starting to look at the Panasonic digital cameras?

Anyway an SLR like camera is a camera that emulates the look of a regular SLR, that's it! It does not take pictures the way an SLR would.

Are we talking about a digital camera here?
