I need to know all the options available to editing mini dv footage onto my computer. I have a Canon ZR85 mini DV Camcorder. It has a USB and 1394 I link cable ports on it. But I would like to know if there is any other way besides the USB and 1394 to get footage onto my computer.

There is also the analog way. You can use a/v output and go into a video and audio capture card.

But the best is the DV output to IEEE1394 cable.
