Thread: How to view/transfer video from Sony DCR-TRV240 to my laptop? |

Hi, I tried to view and transfer the video I recorded with my Sony DCR-TRV240 on my laptop. But I don't know how to do that.
What I did was I installed Sony USB driver and PIXELA ImageMixer ver. 1.0 for Sony software (both come with the DCR-TRV240). But when I connect my camcorder to my laptop, I couldn't view anything with ImageMixer software. Should I put my camcorder switch on VCR? I checked on the manuel, it only tells you how to view the video on the memory card on laptop. But DCR-TRV240 doesn't have memory card.
what should I do? Appreciated if anyone can give me a hint. Thanks.

Paul , use windows movie maker then file capture.
