I have noted everyone saying that the supplied Sony software is useless, so have used Roxio DVD builder to cature the video files. I have a problem however whenever I send the file to DVD, my PC or DVD player wont play the file in either MPEG or AVI format. I have used DVD- discs. I have set up a custom setting to burn, with PAL, no compression, 320x240. I dont know what else to try. Anyone got any ideas ???????

You have to use media that the DVD player can recognise. Youhave different kinds, e.g., DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD-RAM, etc.
You also have to make sure that the disc is finalised.
