my DV Camcorder (Panasonic NV-GS22) Is recognised by my personal computer, however, when I try to get the data to transfer to my computer all that is displayed is pure black, nothing else! And it's not the lense cap lol that most people seem to ask me coz I always check. The same problem occurs when I try to use it as a webcam! Eny1 have suggestions? |

I am just a layman but have computer knowledge. My interest is to convert the video recording on the sony Camcorder to PC and burning on the CD as well as editing with background music can you suggest guidelines to this |

What are your Camcorders capabilities? Does it have a firewire output or a DV output jack? Does your PC have the ability to capture videos via Firewire/iLink/DV/IEEE1394? Do you have a video editing software? You need all of these and once you have them we can start. Do not bother with USB. |
