I just bought a Sony DCR HC85 and have been trying to capture the video to my PC using Firewire and Movie Maker. The result has dropped frames resulting in clicking audio and choppy video. Using Nero Vision 6 Capture it tells me how many frames are being dropped. I have a FOXXCON MB with firewire port, WIn XP, 1 GB memory, 2.0 Mhz Pentium 4. Brand new second hard disc. I don't know if it is the Camera or my PC. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions?
