I have problem to transfer a video to my Jvc GR-D70 using pinnacle studio 8.
I can transfer from JVC to PC using a generic IEEE 1394 card, but after editing the video when I want to transfer it to JVC I receive the following error: Pinnacle Studio cannot initialize the DV capture device.

I donīt know what is happening, why I can capture videos and cannot send to JVC?

Any idea?

Thanks

try turning on the record button on the JVC before initializing the transfer.
also do you have a video output device on your computer?
I believe some of these video capture cards only receive and not send, I'm not too sure because my computer has a video out terminal.

I tried that, I put my camera in Play and I pressed the record button as described in the manual. I saw "DV.IN" on the display and the camera was in Pause state waiting for signal.
I donīt have video output.
