My dvd player came with an s-video to s-video cable and three color cable (yellow/red/white). The problem is that my TV only has a coaxial connector in the back which is the only in/out on the TV. The DVD player only has the three color to three color and s-video to s-video. Is there anything out there that has a s-video on one end and a coax on the other? or is there some conversion adaptor available?

You will need a converter box of some type. The easiest and probably the cheapest solution is to run it through a VCR.

I found an inexpensive modulator that should work for you.
