Really appreciate your input as i am new to the home theater audio world. Equipment i have: Receiver: VSX-74TXVI pioneer elite Fronts: Martin Logan Clarity Center: Martin Logan Fresco Sub: Martin Logan Grotto Rears: Speakercraft Aim8Fives question: 1. what cable should i use for the sub (30 feet away) i keep on hearing that a coax with a f connector will work ? i would hate to spend above $50 but intend to for performance sake. thanks a lot. |

Subwoofer cables are not usually F type connectors. You probably need an RCA connector. Here is an inexpensive 25' cable. http://www.findacable.com/servlet/the-777/25ft-VELOCITY%3F-BASS-MANAGEMENT/Detai l and a 50 ft but higher quality http://www.findacable.com/servlet/the-311/50ft-SONICWAVE%3F-RCA-TYPE/Detail |

Best SPDIF for 50 to 100 foot, but make sure to readjust phasing in the back of the sub for distance. Ask for a price for 30 Feet. http://shop.mozartcables.com/product.sc?productId=11&categoryId=4 |
