Is there any such converter which converts optical audio signals into 3 stereo channels (which is what my 5.1 channel sound system works with), or into 6 mono channels if necessary, if it can not be split directly into 3 stereo channels?
I have a 5.1 surround speaker system without an optical-in, but for 5.1 sound it has three entrances to the side, to put in three separate stereo-plugs.
They are labeled according to channels :
-green : front (left+right-->stereo)
-black: rear (left+right-->stereo)
-orange: center/sub (2 channels, so stereo too)

Does anything like this exist?

Any other suggestions for solutions to my problem would be greatly appreciated as well.
