Hi,

I just purchased a Yamaha AV amp as our plasma is just a monitor and has no media box to switch between inputs.

I have two questions that i'm just not sure about.

I have component inputs on the AV amp and on the the plasma. Can i connect my sky plus using scart to component, is this possible and the best way or should i stick to composite?

Also should my dvd player be connected through coaxial or optical audio, and again through scart to component - which is better?
