I have a Monster Power Center, it isnt a one of the huge ones, but it does say it protects up to 1850 joules I believe. I also am using a battery backup made by ADC with model number adc1000.
My question is whether my equipment will be too much power for 1.my circuit, 2. my monster unit, 3. my battery backup
I have a adcom gfa-7400 Onkyo TX-SR800 Samsung HLS4266W 42Inch HDTV DLP Comcast HDTV box Samsung Upconvert DVD player Klipsch ksw-12 subwoofer
My main worry is that this power my overload my fuse box and shut down?? Also if my monster unit will have enough to handle all this and it my battery back up can handle this atleast for a few minutes so I can shut down my equipment in case of outage while units are running.
I would say take the sub off of it and you should be fine, This is assuming that you dont have speakers connected to both the adcom and the receiver as that would be quite a bit of draw.
