Cable Guy---Help
Prince Telecom (Comcast Contractors) came out today and told my dad that you can't put todays splitters into his old Gang Box's. There too big. He's got Digital Cable and wants Cable Broadband. They say he needs new terminals and splitters in the house. I used to work for the phone company and understand the need to update equipment for digital tech, but I find it hard to believe that there isn't a smaller equally good splitter on the market now. Can someone point me in the direction of a compact splitter that's high quality. They also said that Comcast doesn't fish wires through the walls and only wrap houses. I find this really hard to believe. If the phone company can do it I'm sure Comcast can. This guy spent 5 hours at my dads house and only hooked up his Set Top Box and unscrewed two wall covers.

Thanks

OK, there has to be somebody in this forum with some ideas. I also have another question. What's the difference between RJ 6Q & RJ 59?
