Maybe this has already been posted but I could not find a thread , so posting this:
I want to play DVDs on my laptop and watch them on the TV. My TV however does not have an S-Video In. Is there any way I can watch the movies on the TV or do I have to make do with watching on the laptop?
If it helps, I have a DVD player that has an S-video port. Will that be useful? |

You could go from the s-video on the laptop into the DVD player then connect the DVD player with composite or component video. Or if you have HDMI ports you could use HDMI. Here are some links to the DVD cables that could be useful.

Hello all
I am playing around with a older Akai cft 2790 tv and i hooked up a rgb video to s adapter and a arcade video game and my laptop to it. I found that the picture cuts off the about 10 to 20 percent of the game or desktop anyone know how to adjust this? |
