i do but its mainly running wires to the thing but this is alot of new to me and thats why i am on here asking if i can get any ideal to look to fix it and all

Mainly running wires??? That does not qualify as fixing electronic equipment.

Check if you have any blown fuses. If the unit does not have any, leave it to a qualified technician. You could be better off getting a new one.
