Good Day,

I just bought a home theater system (Samsung HT-AS610T/XAC)

I have PC with a sound blaster X-Fi ExtremeMusic and a macbook pro, I would like to connect both the PC and the Mac to the home theater system. Please advice me on the cables I should get.

Thanks very much.

You can use the digital I/O of your card and connect it to the digital input of your HT. Do the same for your MAC if it comes with a digital output. Make sure to get a ground loop isolator for you computers to eliminate the noise that it can introduce to your HT.

I guess your MacBook Pro should have a digital out connector I recon seeing it. you can just take that digital out to your Amp HT IN and you should be ok.... as Mac DVD player decoded all the DD/DTS formates...
