So the only audio out my TV has is a SPDIF, yet the old receiver I have doesn't have any SPDIF ports, only standard red and white RCA ports, is there any converter/adapter I can use to connect these? Thanks for the help I really have no idea. |

Unfortunately the converter is called a receiver. What you are basically trying to do is change the digital signal to analog so you can connect it to the "old receiver". What kind of receiver is it? |

It is a Sony STR-D790, I do not know if that helps. |
