Hi, I'm new to the forum and have a couple questions that I've come across while slowly upgrading my low to mid-fi system. I recently acquired a harman/kardon FL-8300 and an AVR 20 II on eBay, and I've noticed the sound quality jump when the FL-8300 was connected to my old JVC RX-6030VBK receiver. I have yet to take delivery of the AVR-20 II, but I'm curious as to whether the combo deserves a better set of analog interconnects than the RadioShack ones I've been using so far. Also, the AVR-20 uses a banana plug style connector for the front speakers, which is different from my JVC (it accepts bare wire). Being new to banana plugs, I'd appreciate some advice as to the correct ones to purchase to conserve sound quality, while keeping under the 50 dollar mark. I've seen a set of 8 Nakamichi ones on eBay, they look decent to me. Thanks a lot.
