I have a Sony DVD player DVP S360 snd makes noise as it plays. Like when a CD starts, but it is louder and at times constant. A Sony store clerk said it was normal, but the system in the store was fairly noise free. Please advise ...

I have the same player and it is not normal, take it into the store and tell them (don't ask) to connect it and listen to it and then tell them to do something about it, if they won't bypass them and go direct to Sony.
