I have a dell MMS 5650 5.1 speaker system which terminates in three separate plugs into the computer. Since I'm using it with a laptop, I have to convert the three separate plugs to one stereo plug to go onto the one audio jack on the computer. For whatever reason, this produces a good deal of static & hissing. Is there any sort of PCMCIA audio card out there that would allow me to plug all three plugs into the laptop at once, separately, thus letting me take full advantage of the 5.1 system and eliminate the hissing and buzzing?
