I have a Grundig TV that I have hooked up to a Sansui integrated amp for stereo on Infinity speakers. I have routed the satellite receiver through a Grundig VCR which is of the pre-scart era. Anyway, everything is working fine with my original scart hooked to the TV & the RCA video out connected to the VCR video terminal & audio out connected to the amp audio terminal. The original scart cable has 4 connectors where 2 connectors are not connected to anything. I bought a Monster Cable scart with 3 connectors, video out, audio R & L. Tried to connect the same way as the original, but no sound & no video signals. Am I doing anything wrong? Do I need a scart with 6 RCA that has both video out & audio out in additon to the video & audio in connectors?
