I have a Panasonic SC-HT15 Suround sound that I intend to connect to a Media Centre PC. The panasonic has a digital coaxial input with an RCA plug with no reference to the standard in the manual. Can I assume that it is compatible with my PCs SPDIF output ?
Also, does anyone know whether using SPDIF will automatically configure the Pansonic for the right speaker configuration. I.e. switch to surround sound for video/tv and to whatever mode selected in the Panasonic for audio?
Thanks in advance
