Sorry for my rediculous question...is this cable is similar with 3.5mm cable jack for the headphone extension (Male to Male) but instead of stereo should be mono? Not sure if I can use this type of cable for this application or maybe a special order cable for 12v trigger. Thanks for your help on this

why do you need a mono connector? wouldnt it be worse? Also, which back port on the x-fi sound card does it plug in to? |

sorry for my late response on this. Anyway, this type of cable is for 12v trigger at the back of the receiver and amps. So not sure if its ok to use a stereo 3.5mm cable.

My friend uses a stereo 3.5mm male/male cable, works fine. I never use the 12v trigger. |
