Hi People. Trying to solve a problem I have with the screen, there's a intermittent black tearing affect that's got worse over time (only seems to happen when the set as warmed up). But the other day I disconnected all leads/cables from the back, for a hour, then plugged them back in, and since then the fault as disappeared Could there be some sort of build up in the leads causing the interference?

Never heard of that happening before. You could be right that your connections were not very secure or there is some corrosion/gunk in the connectors. When you pulled them out, they essentially got a little cleaner. |
