I bought a Sylvania 6620LDF LCD TV with DVD for a second room which will be connected to my DishNetwork 522 DVR (located downstairs), which is controlled via their UHF remote. This Dish remote cannot learn to control the TV (it can learn the DVD functions, however). I have tried all the remote codes etc. and I am convinced I will not be able to control the TV power and volume (and input mode) with the Dish remote. Do I have any options to avoid using 2 remotes to control TV, DVD and Dishnetwork UHF-controlled DVR in this room?
