I have a PROSCAN PS32810 32" tv. The specs say it's high-defination capable, BUT the connection you have to use is a "VGA" connection. The resolution for this connection is 1280x1080 interlaced according to the manual. On the back of the TV, the port is labelled "Digital TV Input (S)VGA".

1) Is this really high-defination?
2) How would I hook this up to an HDMI set-top box? Is there a VGA to HDMI cable out there?
3) I have found a "high-defination VGA" cable and a VGA to DVI adapter, then a DVI to HDMI cable changer. Will this work and will there by signal loss with all the converters?
