Hi,

Is it OK to use a Composite RCA cable (A/V cable) for Component video?
I was wondering what the characteristic impedance of the two audio wires (for L/R audio channels) in the Composite cable would be, assuming the characteristic impedance of the video wire of the Composite cable is 75 ohms which is the same as the Component video cable characteristic impedance.
If the characteristic impedance of the two audio wires in the Composite cable is also 75 ohms, then I guess it would be just fine to use the Composite cable for Component video?

Would greatly appreciate your responses.
