Hello all,

I just found your forum and it is very impressive. I'm sure you will be able to answer my questions.

I have a Comcast digital (non HD) receiver that receives its signal via coax from the outside (pretty normal). It has an S-video and a composite output. I have a Tivo which has an S-video and composite input AND also a component output. I have a TV (non-HD) that has all three inputs.

What would be the optimal connection for these? I know that component will provide the best quality video but if my cable receiver gets its signal via the coax and only has S-video and composite outputs would using component from the Tivo to the TV really matter?

Thanks for your help.
