i just bought an AR power conditioner, but when i tried to research it on the net, i couldn't find any info on it.

i'd like to know how useful it is at blocking RF interference as i'm getting serious herringbone distortion on my set that wasn't cleared up with a ground lifter on my power strip.

the AR unit gives no info on how effective it is at reducing RF interference either in decibles or percentages. the unit doesn't appear on AR's website, and the info they DO post for the models there is even more basic than my box.

i'm not going to open the package until i get a concrete idea of if it's even worth the effort of trying it. the ONLY thing i have to go by is a graphic (not oscilloscope photo) of a spiky before sinewave and a clear one afterwards.

it sounds like the unit is more about power spikes than RF interference, otherwise it would give some sort of spec.

does anyone know how much if any RF and digital hash this alleged power conditioner blocks?
