if you want the most bass... you'll get the most reenforcement by placing the sub in a corner and in effect turning your room into a giant bass horn.

you could end up with some seriously boomy bass if you do that though.

Heres a good trick. First, kick everyone out of the house. Then put the Sub in your listening chair. Then crawl around on your hands and knees (while listening to music) until you find the spot that sounds best to you. (you can see why we kicked out anyone that might be a withness) Once you find the spot that sounds good, put the sub in that spot.

It may sound strange, but it works pretty good.

Bassman,

You are obviously very smart. This forum needs more people like you.

Nester,

The best teacher is you. Yes you! Teach yourself. The best lessons learned in life are the ones from experience. Dont get me wrong, I am just trying to say that it is ok to experiment, besides it is a lot more fun than just asking other people for their opinion.

Audio is fun. Have fun with it man! Go ahead and build ridiculously strange systems, and all that kind of stuff, who knows you may become the next Einstein. Thats how he became famous. He took no opinions, he lead the way.

Just do it man.

Stop spraying the forums imrankhan. You're bringing dead threads to the top pushing recent threads to the bottom. I saw the A/V furniture section.
