If I were to bi-wire my mains with 14 AWG, should I still use a single 14 guage cable for my center or something larger to compensate for the extra cross sectional area being given to the mains?

Additionally, is there any signifigant advantage to using a twisted type speaker wire over the flat side by side type?

thanks!
