My primary speakers use old style spring clip connectors. Does anyone make an adaptor for them so I can use spades and higher quality cables?

Or, should I strip the ends and solder the wire solid?

TIA
Brock

it would be better to just solder the wire solid. If you want better aesthetics, you can get connectors that look like these
http://www.monstercable.com/productPage.asp?pin=609
or these
http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&product%5Fid=278-310

they are just pin connectors and you can attach them to the end of your speaker wires and use the spring clip to hold them in place.
You can also get these from parts express, shop around for the best price
cheers
