Has anyone tried this and what results did result?

Also, on bi-wireable speakers does it matter which pair of connects I use when not bi-wiring? I know that to bi-amp bi-wire you run power to the tweeter and mid-driver but how can I tell which to connect?

i also have a 500 foot spool of 'signaling wire' (?) that has been used by my uncle (where i got it from) that is solid copper inside instead of the threaded kind i seem to see elsewhere in stores. i've used it just fine in my cheapy sony bookshelf system with clamp type connectors with better success than the threaded kind as it was more solid to clamp onto, but i just splurged on a def-tech/marantz setup retailing for more than $4000 and i'm a little more worried about using it there. any information would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

Should be no problem. I am using networking cable (solid copper core) for a design you can find on TNT-audio (www.tnt-audio.com).
The results are excellent
