batteryspace.com is the ultimate stop for rechargeable batteries and charger

batteryspace.com first came to my attention at the end of December 2005 when I was looking for a replacement battery for my IBM laptop thanks to advertisements on pricewatch.com. I however did not make my first purchase from them until May 26 2006. I started slow and purchased 12 Pcs of Powerizer AAA 850mAH NI-MH Rechargable Batteries Part # MH-AAA850APZx12.

The price was very reasonable and competitive at $11.95 plus $6.55 S&H. Including tax, the final price was $18.50. So the average price for each 850mAh MiMH rechargeable battery was $1.54. With no discounts this was still better than the major electronic outlets & other online battery websites. The next closest was microcenter at $19.99 + tax for some 600mAH batteries. So you can see I hopped on this deal right away.

I called batteryspace.com to place my order and was pleasantly greeted by a very knowledgeable, professional & helpful sales technician. I received a quick email confirmation of the order along with a tracking number. I like to know when I’m going to receive my packages as I am in and out of the house a lot & the tracking feature was perfect.

I got the package in approximately 6 days. Package was in good condition & I found the items in good conditions.

Now about the actual product, I have used the batteries for approximately one year now and I can say for sure, overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.

I still have just one minor complaint about the battery itself. I am not sure its batteryspace.com’s problem though. The Powerizer batteries do not fit properly in my mini wireless laptop mouse. All other store bought batteries work great in there but not the Powerizer batteries. It took me a while to figure out just the right position to place the battery in the mouse to make it work. Even then it only works in conjunction with a store bought battery. So I now use 1 store bought rechargeable Energizer battery and 1 Powerizer battery in my wireless mouse.

Besides this 1 little problem, the batteries have been running flawless. Like I said earlier in the 1 year since buying the batteries I have had no other problems & the batteries are still going strong.

Since then I have purchased a CH-P1000 Ultra Fast Smart Charger with Car Lighter Adaptor as a piggyback on my coworker’s order, whom I convinced to purchase some AA 2500mAH batteries for her Kodak camera. We did it to split the S&H costs. Both she & I have had our products for over 7 months now & they have been working flawlessly.

I would like to add a point, another customer has made in the forum. After my order on batteryspace.com was successfully, I got the order confirmation and at the same time I got another new 5% discount code for the next order. It looks like batteryspace.com wants to do the right thing in order to get their customer to keep coming back by using those discounts. However I think they need to do a little bit more. Most new customer can now get the same discount with little effort by looking for the website discount codes via google search. There are literally tons of 5% discount codes around the internet for batteryspace.com.

I know the website now offers some AA & AAA batteries with free shipping. But most of item I am interested in, but CAN live without, do not have any free shipping offer. If batteryspace.com can offer the 5% discount code combined with some free shipping offer in the future, only for returning customers, it would really make me feel appreciated over the new customers. I would definitely shop for the extra convenience charger and the big Cs & Ds batteries that I tend not to use or need that often.

My next wish besides the one mentioned above is a good sale on the solar panels. Help me improve the environment batteryspace.com
