This is a review for my purchase of battery charger and rechargeable battery combo from battery space.com
WHY: I decided to look into purchasing rechargeable batteries since I am a new father and it seems that all of the kids gadgets nowadays are powered with batteries, and I hate spending big money for batteries you just throw away. I have a AA/AAA battery charger at home, but guess what
.most of the toys take C or D size batteries.
RESEARCH: being the research nut that I am, I logged on to multiple websites, looked in Ebay and compared and contrasted different chargers/batteries and their cost. This is what led me to batteryspace.com, they are the best bang for the buck, cheapest high quality products.

I bought the BC1HU Universal Smart Charger + 8 pcs D size 10000 mAh NiMH Batteries combo. I dcided to go with this charger because of the following features:
Recharges various types of batteries : 1 to 4 pcs AAA, AA, C, D, or 1 to 2 pcs 9V cells
Recharges batteries in single or group
Automatic charge/discharge current selection for the different size of batteries and Identification of defective cells.
With over temperature, short circuit and overcharge protection
Individual LED to indicate discharge, fast charge and trickle charge
I also decided to get the 8 pieces of D batteries since I had a cradle swing that was eating up 4 batteries at a time, and I figured I can get more rechargeable batteries if my experience with the company was good.
Purchasing experience: purchasing through batteryspace.com was fast and easy, they thoroughly describe each product offered and if you still had further questions they had numbers that you could call. I put the battery charger combo in my cart and zipped through the process using my credit card. I completed my purchase Monday afternoon and was sent a confirmation e-mail right away. I got an e-mail on Tuesday saying that the product was on the way using via UPS with tracking number and got the product on Wednesday afternoon. I got the product quick since I live in California where company is located.
Time to charge: I noticed that the package was very well packed, I unpacked the charger and took off the cello wrap on the first set of four D batteries. I charged the batteries as instructed. It took 18 hours for the first set to charge (from red light to green light) I expected it to take longer that the posted charge times since the batteries are new from the factory. The second set of batteries took around 14 hours to charge. The batteries have been performing very well in the swing.
Review: I am very happy with my purchase from batteryspace.com my next purchase would be some more AA/AAA rechargeable batteries so I can replace the regular batteries from the gadgets that I own (mp3 player, remote control, baby room monitor etc..). I would not hesitate to purchase from batteryspace.com again. They are a well run business and provide you with good service from the time you are researching their products to the time that the product gets to your doorstep.
