Altec Lansing CS21 110 Watts RMS
I Purchased these speakers because of well known and respected name of Altec Lansing in premium sound quality. Previously I had ACS 45.1 Which works well i use it for about three years with no major problems. When You Open box you can see neatly packed two large satellites and a Huge subwoofer.I think altec choice of using Ferrite Magnets in PC audio is great Improvement. The Subwoofer Will Amaze You,Believe it. This subwoofer Can Handle a large room with same fidelity. With 50 Watts RMS of pure power It will Rock Your Head. Now the satellites either you are listening at low or high it sounds great dont confuse about the size of midrage satellite driver(30 Watts RMS each) it can play louder and more louder.Tweeters did a nice job they deliver every tiny "ting" in your Song or movie .One thing i noticed about this Set is that if you place your satellites of about 4 feet apart after listening some time you can easily feel that you are in virtual concert mood. I played this set to max( for little time it is quite more than i expected) and no any minor distortion is present. In my experiance this Set is superior in Sound Quality than Altec's other system except 641. Logitech 640 540 z2200 and many other highend systems have higher price and low power ratings in my thought it is better to use a good 2.1 system rather than low powered and ordinary sounded 5.1, 6.1 Systems I am thankful to Altec Lansing for making CS21 like systems But these sets are quite hardly avalaible in Karachi Pakistan. |

I am Haris I Purchased CS-21 in Aug-2004.Before CS-21 i had ACS-33.These were fine.I used ACS-33 for more then two years.But there was no problem.Now i am using CS-21.This model is not expensive,its sound is extra ordinary.I feel heavy viberation in my room even when the bass level of sub-woofer is below zero gain.The mid-range of frequencies are not distorted even at 95% of gain.CS-21 is very powerful.CS-21 can input 4-channels at the same time.I can listen audio of PC and TV at same time,and the only drawback is that i cannot monitor gain that is there is no LCD or revolving knob for amplification.I purchased CS-21 at RS-5800.Altec Lansing is hardly available in PAKISTAN.I live in ISLAMABAD.There is no model of Altec Lansing available here.IF U WANT TO BUY STEREO SPEAKERS THEN CS-21 IS THE ULTIMATE MODEL.... |
