I have noticed that radio stations are putting a link on there homepage, that allows the user to listen to their broadcast via web stream. It sounds very awful. I am wondering if this has anything to do with HD radio. Do they take the same HD radio signal and download real time to the net?

HD radio? that exists? wouldn't that be like streaming flacs?
