yeah ok all u guys say em is wack? eminem actually raps about something other than biatches and weed, I mean i like those songs the tupac era and what not but u gotta give em credit. he is the first real white rapper to make it. He is paving the way for people like bubba and pual wall as white rappers. Em's lyrics are some of the best rhymes i have seen period. |

If you want a entire album with top of the line beats check out the Gravediggaz debut, "6 Feet Deep". If u can get over the maniacal rhymes, it's one of the best ever. |

Kurupt - Freak It Bravehearts - Quick To Back Down Dogg Pound & Mack 10 - Nothin' But the Cavi Hit Birdman - Numba One Stunna The Game - Dreams & The Documentary 50 Cent - Heat & Many Men Eminem - Criminal There's too many to name and alot of them that I can't remember the titles to. I'll just say that most Dr. Dre's beats are the shiz and he's probably the best rap music producer in the industry. So yeah, if you're looking for the best beats, check out any artist on his label. He can make even the worst of the worst artists look good. And if you ain't feelin'that, I'd say look out for Lil Jon, DJ Clue, DJ Quik, Timbaland and Jazzy. |

BTW, the last posts i made were only about some of the best beats. The best rap tracks are... well, let's just say that you won't find most of them on radio, homie. To narrow down the list of the best rap tracks, i'll just name some of the best rappers IMO. Jadakiss, Nas, The Game, Eminem, Ludacris, Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z, (Tupac & Biggy R.I.P.). I left out some good one, but i gtg. |

this goes to chauncey- Eminem is far from being overrated. He has taken the hip hop genre to a whole different level than anyone has even attempted to do. I think the franchize boyz and ying yang twins are overrated. People who have no ryming skill like bubba sparxxx or Lil Jon or e40 dont belong in rap. if you call that muzic- the you are sadly mistaken! |

First of all, EMINEM Does not suck, and he is not the best rapper either, but he is definitly one of the top 10, if he was killed like 2 pac and biggie he would have become a legend too. second of all, he is not just loved cuz he is white , and Encore proves my point, cuz em lost a lot of fans after that album and we all said that it suckd , now to get back on topic here are some great rap songs with great beats: 1-smoke some weed(Ice C)ube 2-why we thugs(Ice Cube) 3-welcome to detroit(Eminem ft Trick Daddy) 4-truth or dare(nerd) 5-Lap dance (nerd) 6-drama setter(tonny yayao ft eminem) 7-fired up (Mc hush)<this is has a great beat) 8-warrior p2 remix(eminem ftlloyd banks and 50 cent) 9-dead wrong (biggie) 10-hands on you(obie trice) 11-hood rats (obie trice) 12-Ghost (2 pac) |

Before posting these beats, Id like to thank everyone that was contributed to this forum. Miguel Alzugaray I liked most of those songs. Here we go Above The Clouds - Ganstarr (sick snowboarding song) Duck Season - Dj.Babu + Beatnuts (Most of Beatnuts stuff is really good. His rhymes are kinda weak but his beats are sick.. BEAT nuts) Apollo Kids - Ghostface Killah When It Pours It Rains - Diamond D Still - Common Got Yourself A Gun - Nas Get By - Talib Kweli Made You Look - NAS Get Down - NAS All Caps - MF Doom Figaro - Mf Doom Se Acabo - Beatnuts + Redman No Escapin' This - Beatnuts Mr.Hahn - Linkin Park (This song is a DJ stratch by the Linkin Park DJ. It has no lyrics. ITS REALLY SICK) Its All Real - Pitch Black Worst Comes To Worst - Dilated People Reality Check - Binary Star(No one on this forum has posted music by Binary Star, He's really good) Full Clip For Life - Beatnuts Get Your Hands Up - Crooklyn Clan (This song is going to be very familiar. Took me awhile to find it) Freakin Flows - Binary Star Skillz - Ganstarr Never Gonna Get It - Akkon (I dont like the artist, but this song has a sick beat) Fellowship - Binary Star Running - 2pac Lets Get Doe - Beatnuts + Fatman Scopp Spirit Of The 94' - Kaze + 9th Wonder Pearly Gates - Mobb Deep You Can't Hide You Can't Run - Dilated People I Gotta Stay Fly - Three 6 Mafia Capital P, Capital H - Mobb Deep La Furie Et La Foi - Funky Familly (The lyrics are french but the beat is sick. If someone could make an instrumental version for me reply in the post and ill put up my email) Thats about it. All these songs have really good beats. Also everyone should check out WWW.PANDORA.COM . Its one of the sickest sites on the web to discover new music. All you do is enter an artist or song name and they find you similar songs which you can listen to directly on the site. Ive discovered many new artists with this site. ENJOY |

Yo does anyone have any idea what the Mobb Deep song with the lyrics- "You betta watch yourself your life'll end up like a horror flick it'll be over just that quick, when that thing go click, niggaz betta bounce, befo you be that nigga that we all readin about?" It has a nasty, creative, eerie, and very effective organ beat inspired by some classical music. (I think Handel.) Probably very obscure/rare song. Also I really like Zim Hiltin's idea of putting asterisks beside songs with great lyrics, in addition to their great beats. SONGS (all focused on lyrics but beats are great as well) Unexplained-Gravediggaz (Favorite beat of all time; greatest concept group of all time) Gunnen em down- KRS-ONE Acid raindrops-People under the stairs Any day- typical cats Lucas with the lid off-lucas Datskat- The roots Bow down-Westside connection (what the commercial radio clowns wish they could do nowadays) I seen a man die-scarface (Scarface's stuff is actually quite good) Anything by Digable planets, Das efx, Oxygen-Aesop Rock Clay-Atmosphere Runnin-Pharcyde How many MCs must get dissed-Black moon Cant stop the prophet, aint he devil happy-Jeru the damaja Good mourning-Talib kweli Pass the mic- Beastie boys what?-ATCQ Jenny taught me-de la soul Aquemini-Outkast Influence-Jurassic 5 How to roll a blunt-Redman Wu-tand clan aint nothin to f' with-wu-tang clan (never fails to get me amped) Has anyone else noticed that mainstream hip hop (broad definition of the word hip hop) sucks? |

I no a lot of u wont no UK rap, but give some of these "beats" (Lyrics aren't always that deep) a try, download or whatever... Tinie Tempah - Wifey Dizzee Rascal - I Luv U Kano - Typical Me Mitchell Brothers - Routine Check Dizzee Rascal - Fix Up Look Sharp The Streets - Let's Push Things Forward Kano - P's & Q's Kray Twins & Twista - What We Do (Yes The US Twista) Roots Manuva - Join The Dots But the best beat ever is I Got 5 On It. If you want a listen 2 some UK rap, which i genuwinely think can rival US, add me on msn messenger bpre0508@hotmail.com and ill happily send you some songz. Kano is set to join Def Jam, as Jay-Z loved him. Kanye West & The Streets are doin a track 2getha. I think Dizzee Rascal did OK in da US did a song wit Snoop, Ashanti & T-Pain. So some Uk artists r gettin noticed, so jus try em. Im also an aspiring producer, so may b ill b discussed on ere 1 day lol. |

of course dre likes him, hes bisexual (according to his dealers) but thats not the point. Eminem has some good hits, i will admit..but I don't believe something of that nature should be considered rap. |

aight.. best beats for me are: Juvenile - "back that azz up" "The Points Remix" by various artists (B.I.G., Bone thugs, method/redman, etc.. Mystikal - "Murderer" Master P feat. UGK - "Break 'em off somethin'" Oh, and eminem is a good rapper. I dont like any of his songs really and I don't really like the material that he raps about, but I can respect a talented rapper. He is lethal on the mic and could rap about whatever he wants, how he wants, and it is done in a very lyrical way... but I just dont care for his music. So do I listen to him? NO... is he a good and talented rapper that I can respect? Definetly. |
