I was just lookin to make myself a cd with some of the greatest beats on it, and i was wondering if everyone could throw their ideas at me to help. Im lookin for something like "Beat It Up" by the Big Tymers... if you havent heard it... damn its good... anyways, any input would be appreciated, thanx. I also like "My Smokin Song" by Lil Whyte and "I Got Five On It" by Luniz |

Go for some early Eminem. Stuff off infinite and F*** Crazy. Also the early Dre (up to Chronic 2001). MOP - ante up will always be a classic! Mobb deep - quiet storm. Early DMX is good 2. Some Busta is good too - break ya neck. and u simply must get Fire it up (knight rider remix). Method man - how high is pretty good |

im sorry that u feel that way, but im stating the truth, and what donest make any sense, as a black male we are seen as tough, thugish, people, and if a black person where to talk crazy like he does america would not embrace us as they have embraced him, they would think we where crazy. |

Not choosing anybody's side but all races embrace Em's music - black rappers sing crazy stuff just like him but its his sombre funny/rude way of laying it down that makes me listen to him & his wacky videos . He's also a master @ going beyond the 'pushing it line' so well that alot of his in 'your face' stuff slides by even on public radio ...... |

ok, brown, not all black people r the same, and not all white people r the same, u think that a black person is the worst person to be and want people to feel sorry for u. and u think white people have it all,and act the same way. well, if u go outside, and look around, some black people hate rap, and love rock, and some white people love rap and hate rock. what im trying to say is not all people r the same based on race, but based on where they grew up, who they hang around , and what they been through, thats what makes a person not race |

i have nothing against white people (my gf is white and so is my bro-in-law), i just said that eminem is overrated. Alot of people is like do u see how many cd's he's sold and im like i have 1000's of cd's and have yet to buy a real cd (bootlegs). Also i have noticed that more girls like eminem more then guys, so nothing againts em he's ok, just not as great as some people say. Imo i would rather listen to Bubba Sparxxx and Paul Wall. |

Sweet, Im gonna go download some of those right now and check em out. You guys heard "Ghetto Boys- Gangsta of Love"? DAMN, i like that a lot, i could only find the Gangsta Boogie remix though with the background music as "Sweet Home Alabama"... but maybe that makes it even better. And shìt, eminems the man, but yea, hes big becuz hes white, even he knows that, but not just becuz of that. He has an incredible way of rapping and all the controversy he caused just made him that much more sought after. --- If you guys havent listened to "Beat It Up" by the Big Tymers, i suggest you do right now. DAMN! Its older, but definitely one of the coolest beats ive ever heard... but thats just me. |

I just listened to "Harlem Streets- Immortal Technique"... its really good, but its a more mellow song than i was looking for. Dont get me wrong, but i am looking for something a little louber and something you can really bounce to, you know? "Fire It Up- Busta Rhymes" is a lot closer to the beat I'm looking for. Im still going to download all of the songs you guys have mentioned and thanks for the help. If anyone can think of more songs, please mention them, thanks again. |

Some older beats i personally like are from "24's- T.I" "Rubberband Man- T.I." and "Its Going Down- Baby D". Oh yeah, I'm going through my Media Player, and i also see "I Got Five On It- Luniz" "Real Big- Mannie Fresh" Go DJ- Lil Wayne" and In My White Tee has a pretty sick beat, though the vocals dont SOUND the greatest, you know? |
